Yarn Strong Sista

 

Yarn Strong Sista specialise and offer a range of services including visits to Early Childhood environments to facilitate storytelling and arts workshops with children, hosting Professional Development training for Educators, facilitating arts experiences and face-painting at festivals and events, and providing First Nations designed resources and educational tools on our website.

 

SNAICC - Early Childhood

SNAICC is the national non-governmental peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. We work for the fulfilment of the rights of our children, in particular to ensure their safety, development and well-being. Our goal is strong, healthy, self-determining Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, connected to family and culture.

 

VAEAI - Early Years

VAEAI provides independent Koorie community advice to local, state and national government departments and agencies. VAEAI supports and advices services that provide early childhood education for Koorie children.

 

Kindergarten for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children (Vic State Government)

Kindergarten is important for children; an early education helps set children up for a bright future. In kindergarten they learn skills that they will take with them throughout their life. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children have a right ot have their cultural identity respected and incorporated into the activities at kindergarten.
