Description

The Wurundjeri Council and Joe's Market Garden are holding a community planting bee. We will be planting out 100s of murnong to kick start the Wurundjeri Bushfood Growing Project. Our aim is to grow and sell high quality bushfood, help create meaningful employment for Aboriginal people, and also grow climate appropriate crops.  Charcoal Lane is in full support and will purchase anything we grow. The Wurundjeri will own the project however will be supported by CERES Joe's Market Garden with land, tools, a market, cool room etc.

The day will start at 11am -1pm, it will include a Smoking Ceremony, planting, BBQ, speeches
