ABC iview is the ABC’s streaming service with a section devoted to Indigenous Films & TV Shows.

 

SBS On Demand website

SBS On Demand is the streaming service for SBS where you can watch all watch all your favourite SBS and NITV programs. First Nations movies that are currently available include, Rabbit Proof Fence (PG - available till 1March22) and Yolngu Boy (M - available till 30June22)(Free Subscription)

 

Kanopy

Kanopy, Inc. is an on-demand streaming video platform for public libraries and universities that offers films and documentaries. Kanopy has an entire section dedicated to ‘The First Australians’ with many First Nations movies. (Free – requires a library card or university log in)

Netflix is a streaming service that offers a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies, anime, documentaries and more on thousands of internet-connected devices. First Nations movies that are currently available include, The Sapphires (PG) and In My Blood it Runs (PG). (Cost: $10.99 to $19.99 per month)

Stan is an Australian streaming service that offers a range of movies and TV shows including a good amount of Australian. First Nations movies that are currently available include, The Final Quarter (PG) and Bran Nue Dae (PG13). (Cost: From $10.00 a month)

 

YouTube

YouTube is an American online video sharing and social media platform. Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world. First Nations movies that are currently available to rent or buy include, Satellite Boy (PG) and Top End Wedding (M). (Cost: Depends on movie)

 

iTunes

iTunes is an Apple service that allows you to buy and download your favourite songs, TV shows, movies and podcasts. First Nations movies that are currently available to rent or buy include Charlie's Country (M) and Samson & Delilah (MA15+). (Cost: Depends on movie)
